The PythonAsia Online Charity Talks 2026 takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM (UTC+8). This is the 3rd Online Charity Talk event, following the successful first edition on July 26, 2025, and the second edition on January 31, 2026, and aims to raise funds for open-source development and Python education initiatives throughout East and Southeast Asia.
Organized by the Python Asia Organization (PAO), the event will feature leading contributors and technical experts who will discuss Python development, performance optimization, tooling, and emerging innovations. All proceeds support regional programs that enhance access to Python education in underserved communities. The event will be held online, streamed via Zoom and YouTube Live.
Event Objectives
- Raise €8,000 to support Python education, open-source contribution programs, and community activities across Asia.
- Highlight innovations in Python performance, backend systems, LLMs, concurrency, and modern development practices.
- Showcase the work of respected contributors and leaders in the Python ecosystem.
- Strengthen cross-border collaboration within the Asian Python community.

Ticket Options
Participants can choose from multiple access levels based on how they wish to support the event

Zoom access is limited to paid ticket holders. YouTube Live is intended to ensure accessibility for students and individuals in financial need.
